MK2 were engaged by the building owner to undertake the Contract Administrator role on the strip out of an existing retail unit in Solihull and subsequent enabling works ready for tenant fit-out. With a tight programme to ensure the tenant took tenancy at their intended date; MK2 engaged a contractor to remove the previous internal partitions, remaining finishes, refurbish the shopfront and ensure the units structural integrity. Additionally carrying out the necessary works to make the property compliant to Building Regulations.
In providing refurbishing the retail unit to a blank canvas it allowed the incoming tenant of Loaf to fit-out their property quickly in time for the Christmas period.
