MK2 SECURES INSTRUCTION WITH DETERTECH

MK2 Real Estate’s building consultancy team has been instructed by DeterTech to oversee the fit-out of its new headquarters in Telford. 

DeterTech is a leading provider of innovative and award-winning security solutions, ranging from crime intelligence and forensic marking to site security and sensor technology, operating across sectors such as energy, utilities, rail, retail, and government and law enforcement.

The company is relocating to a new 23,000 sq ft office at Pioneer Park. Paul Rixon, director and head of lease consultancy at MK2, acquired the new premises on behalf of DeterTech to accommodate the expansion of the business.

MK2’s building consultancy team, led by associate director Harry Gregory, will project manage the fit-out of the new office as the employer’s agent. Intex Projects has been appointed as the fit-out contractor.

The project is scheduled for completion in May 2023.

MK2’s building consultancy services include project management, contract administration and employer’s agent. The team can undertake client brief development, feasibility and options appraisal, design team assembly, procurement strategy and construction project management on office, industrial, retail and mixed-use schemes.
